Situated in the city of lakes, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Bhopal first started in August 1994 . This ideal centre of education is a unit of an effective and well knit organization of “Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan”, under the ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. Due to its glorious history and great achievements, it has always been in the forefront of the Bhopal Region. In the past few years, it has grown rapidly in every field and got appreciation from all sides.
The total strength of students is 1852 with 63 learned teachers on roll and running 4 sections school with commerce and science stream. The school is located in the heart of the city, nearby HABIB GANJ railway station which is hardly 500 meters in distance. The lush green campus encourages a vital relationship with nature and it pulsates the pace of information technology as well as Indian art & culture.
